Why is Joel Coen Missing in Lights, Camera, And Action?

Okay, he's obviously a gigantically talented film director and writer, however he has not released a film since The Ballad of Buster Scruggs in 2018 credited alongside his brother Ethan Coen. How he's been missed as well. 

Comparison to Ethan Coen

Ethan Coen has however released a slew of films since 2018 in Drive Away Dolls, Honey Don't and Jerry Lee Lewis: Trouble in Mind. The last few collaborations between the two brothers have felt, in the humble opinion of the author, a bit forced. Does this mean there was a happening between films? 

A hot take on the Coen Brothers

Bridge of Spies was a Steven Spielberg film from 2015 where both are credited as writers on. That aside, the films in the span between 2007 to 2021 have been less successful than what went before. That is the No Country for Old Men to Blood Simple years; when the people valued Coen films.
